Hello!

My name is Suparna Biswas. I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Economics at Iowa State University with research interests in industrial organization, agricultural economics, and applied microeconomics.

 I study how market structure, firm conduct, and marketing decisions shape competition, pricing, and consumer welfare in food markets, using large-scale commercial datasets and structural econometric methods.

I am on the 2026–2027 job market.
